Sandoz agreed in principle to ~$469 million in August 2026 (the largest settlement); Apotex and Heritage paid $49.1 million combined; Lannett and Bausch $17.85 million — with Teva, the lead defendant, still unsettled in the state civil case.
The states have reached several settlements. Apotex and Heritage settled for $49.1 million combined, and Lannett and Bausch Health for $17.85 million. Two former Heritage executives, Jeffery Glazer and Jason Malek, settled and are cooperating. The largest settlement came in August 2026, when Sandoz agreed in principle to pay approximately $469 million to state attorneys general, including amounts under earlier settlements with some states, and to implement significant antitrust compliance reforms. Oklahoma's attorney general said companies that illegally inflate prices "are taking money directly out of the pockets" of residents. Settlements have typically included compliance reforms as well as money. Teva, the lead defendant, has not settled the state civil case.
